Hey Dumpy - hold my beer

For years Dumpy has taken more flak than any living personality in racing, but let's be honest - if it came down to a bunfight between him and Jehan Malherbe, I'd take Dumpy to battle everytime.

The quality of Malherbe has deteriorated to such an extent that I honestly don't understand how he gets full cards to call anymore.

The list of recent errors and misjudgements is endless, and anybody who thinks I'm exaggerating, go and check these replays for starters :

16 April 2019 : General Franco on debut - 3 lengths clear before Maleherbe even picked him up
14 Jan : Katak has come off the bridle and starting to lose touch .... won going away
18 Jan : One of my personal favourites as he swallowed a fly during the first race
18 Jan (AGAIN) : Called an absolute match race from the 300m mark between red Rock Canyon and Mr Fergie - neither of them won
15 Feb ( today ) : As they pass the 250m mark - ' Skidoo has had enough ' ... at the 100m - ' Skidoo trying to find more ' ... at the finish - ' Skidoo wins '

Why do they not just use the yougster that calls for all race-meetings.

He has the voice for commentary and with a little more encouragement will be good.

Or just tell Malherbe to pull his shorts up

The Franco commentary was absolutely shocking
