Weekend Punting Options 21st to 23rd
5 years 3 months ago
Good morning to all the punters.
As normal plenty racing drama but sadly mostly negative.
However we carry on and try to find some winners over the weekend.
FOOTBALL: where the best bets are ; Wycombe, Sunderland, MK Dons, Swindon, Plymouth, Crewe and Aberdeen.
Suggest taking a few doubles, trebles etc
RUGBY : some good 6 nations games where Scotland, Wales and England should come out tops but Ireland should make it difficult.
The CHELTENHAM: picture has not changed much but plenty more to follow over the next couple of weeks.
HORSE RACING: the big race this weekend is the Winter Derby from Lingfield where Bangkok should beat the Dettori mount Dubal Warrior.
On the local front
Fairview ; Delicasea, Armo, Sir Frenchie and World Radar looks the best.
Turffontien : Dubai Princess and Mardi Gras.
Kenilworth: Erik the Red and Kasimir.
Don’t want to discuss Greyville as we are still trying to get Noble Diana into a race and believe it or not, she drew 3 and still did not qualify for Sunday.
We will try again this week but I am sure with the abandonment of a meeting, it will make it more difficult with extra nominations.
We visited the Clubhouse at Randjies and it brought back many happy memories and we will be bringing up Humble Tune from Rathmor to be trained on our doorstep.
Good Punting.

I understand some leading bookmakers are considering pricing up on a yes/no market if a meeting will be completed.
They are working on the small print.
Weather, faulty equipment, strikes, bad going, power outages, tote or IT problems, no ambulance, etc
At this stage just a consideration.
Good Punting or No punting that is the question?

Must say good fight and the winner as mad as a brush (hope he does not read the site)
I did back him at 10/1 to win via knock out.
Never mind a fair punting weekend.
Dettori spoilt what would have been an excellent weekend.
