Vaal
Race 1
Mike Azzie
No 5 Aztec - Improved last run, hoping for more improvement
No 4 Serenity - Poor draw, hoping for some improvement
Race 2
Stephanus Botha
No 5 Forbe's Quarry - The 1450m should suit him better and I'm
expecting a nice run
Candice Dawson
No 1 Pluviophile - Improving, hoping for another good run.
Chris Jonker
No 2 Orphelin Noir - His last run in blinkers can be ignored. He tries
a longer trip and I'm hoping for an improved run
Corne Spies
No 6 Red Wolf - He ran a better race last time and could possibly run
into a place
Race 3
Stephanus Botha
No 12 City Deep - He's improved quite a lot and although drawn a bit
deep, I'm expecting a decent run
Fabian Habib
No 7 Kings Speed - Battling maiden, hoping for an improved effort
Corne Spies
No 3 Fast Draw - Has a decent each-way chance
No 6 Zombie - Probably a bit on the short side, outside quartet chance
Race 4
No comments
Race 5
Heather Adamson
No 10 Countess Trenton - She's a bit out at the weights with Magic
Mila but she is well and should be in the shake up.
Race 6
No 8 Image Award - May need the run
Roy Magner
No 7 Gold Image - Hoping for a better run
No 2 Winter Watch - Jockey Piere Strydom suits her and from a nice
draw I'm expecting her to run well.
Grant Maroun
No 1 Double o' Eight - Carries a lot of weight but should run a big race
Corne Spies
No 4 All Of Me - Nice last win over 1200 meters, should be a big runner again
No 5 Impressive Duchess - Distance suited, should have a good chance
Race 7
Roy Magner
No 2 Bullsade - Comes back from a break and will probably need this run
No 6 The Fifth Wave - She tries this longer trip and i'm hoping for a nice run
Corne Spies
No 5 Gallic Princess - Back to best in latest, good chance again
Race 8
Stephanus Botha
No 10 Trip To Paradise - Should still need this run
Candice Dawson
No 3 Ideal Day - He's doing well at home and as long as he settles in
running, he should run a nice race
Fabian Habib
No 7 City Dancer - He's in a competitive field and drawn wide but is
fit and well and can run into the money
Chris Jonker
No 13 Prix Eclips - He was very up tight last time and used himself up
before the race. He is temperamental but if he behaves on the day he
is capable of upsetting.
Roy Magner
No 12 Shortstop - Badly drawn, so just hoping for the best
No 11 The Makwakkers - Well drawn, hoping for a nice run
Corne Spies
No 6 True Words - Has an each-way chance

Abdul stuck behind too many horses and Ferraris got first run on Lerena even though he was drawn worst.

Let's hope Khumalo doesn't run the other 2 Laird horses out the money.
