Tarry has gelded 2 who have needed correction for ages -Lord Silverio and Shenanigans (might be a sign of the owner's take on breeding in SA as he has previously made stallionsout of similar horses - Skitt Skizzle etc.. ) I think both must be included in bets
ARABELLA QUEEN
BASSAM
MARYGOLD ew include VIRTUOSA in quartets larger perms
HERO'S HONOUR
DUKE OF SPIN /SHENANIGANS
SPORTING MONARCH ew

Autumn has arrived - going should start to firm up - good day's racing - thoughts :
R2: Tricky start to BP - Bassam the obvious one from pole position; if he fails it becomes a bit of a minefield imo; Duke's Game also a nice draw so could be the one to benefit if Bassam does not feature; obvious claims to Golden Tune (break a leg, Elvis) and Ideal Wolff; runners like El Romiachi, Born in the USA and Sacred Dawn could ensure a decent quartet dividend
R3: Betting seems to suggest that Varina is the right one; maybe Miracle Flight not 100% ready ?
R4: Slalom Queen gets weight and for me will give War Room something to think about
R5: Very tough handicap; Too Phat to Fly the value imo; Cordillera probably the best of the Tarry army; but if some of the runners drawn out wide get luck in running, there could be an upset here
R6: The de Kock runners are returning from breaks, and this look a hot field, so I'm not convinced that either could pull this off if not at their best; Cirillo obviously better than his last start and is my choice from stable mate Tierra del Fuego
R7: Summer Pudding looks like she is crying out for this sort of trip and should take plenty of beating; Marygold another who should be looking for this sort of trip and is the main danger imo, with Kayla's Champ another roughie to be running on - but it's either SP or load up
R8: Both Tarry runners look vulnerable; Ikigai did not give me the impression last time that there was a lot left in the tank; so this 1800 is going to be a stretch imo; Shango apparently missed some work a while back; still I prefer him to his stable mate; Frosted Gold another who may not see out the 1800; Got the Greenlight comes back from the Cape, but is he is back to his best will be right there; of the rest Marshall has a big reputation, but not the form to back it up - who knows ?
R9: Closely matched between the top 5, I just think Divine Odyssey is overdue and may get it right today
R10: Very open; lots with chances
R11: Old Man Thyme with the stand side draw and the weight allowance should be right there imo; Chief of State the main danger if the inside draw is not too much of a disadvantage.
R12: Best value of the day for me is Crown Guardian; has taken a tumble in the ratings; gets blinkers and a good jock from a stand side draw; good each-way value imo; Viper Jet and Solarize the obvious dangers, with Sporting Monarch not to be ignored.
Enjoy

Was that a big punt landed race 1?
Was there transparency?

Bassam, by four or more:).
2 Bassam 3.50 3.30 2.85 2.55 1.85 1.78 1.75 1.65 1.80 1.65 1.55 1.30 1.40 1.30 1.10
Plenty money came but unfortunately was as flat as a pancake.
Must have been a good few doubles going with this one.

That was disappointing, slap a pair of blinkers on the horse.

I think the stable is flat and would be surprised to see them get a few winners today. If not one.
