Here are the trainer comments ahead of the race meeting on Tuesday 10 March at the Vaal.
MARCH 9, 2020
Race 1
Stephanus Botha
No 1 Bartholomeus – I’m expecting a good run if he can overcome his wide draw.
No 5 Drummer Dude – Needs to show more.
Ashley Fortune
No 7 Blacksage Alley – Needs further.
Geoff Woodruff
No 8 Secret Glider – He’s bred to go further and should improve on his debut run. Could run into the money.
Race 2
Corne Spies
No12 Roger The Dodger – Will need the experience.
Clinton Binda
No 13 State Property – Will need the run.
Ashley Fortune
No 1 Soul Connection – Should run in the money.
Chris Jonker
No 7 Income Dollar – Improved last run, could possibly earn a stake cheque.
Grant Maroun
No 5 Arran – Improving, good eachway chance.
Race 3
Candice Dawson
No 11 Love Of London – Nice filly, may need the experience.
Ashley Fortune
No 6 Curious Mind – Improving, can place.
No 1 Single Red Rose – Has a good eachway chance.
Race 4
Ashley Fortune
No 5 Bordeaux Beauty – Hoping for an improved run.
Fabian Habib
No 13 Daphne Du Maurier – She’s been looking for this longer distance but has drawn out wide, possible place chance.
No 6 Maculate – Has a deep draw but is working well and could run into the placings.
Chris Jonker
No 10 Stormy Weathers – Will be trying a longer trip but tends to over race. If she settles in-running, she should have a place chance.
Alec Laird
No 2 Ocean Forest – She’s working well and should appreciate the extra distance.
Race 5
Ashley Fortune
No 12 The Sandwich Man – If the run has not come too soon, he should run a nice race.
Fabian Habib
No 11 Capjack – Shown little so far but should improve over this longer trip.
No 5 Kings Speed – He ran an improved race last time and could possibly place.
Geoff Woodruff
No 1 Binky – He’s overdue to win and hoping that it will be his day on Tuesday.
Race 6
Gary Alexander
No 7 Ideal Cut – Has an eachway chance.
No 9 Ration My Passion – Course suited, eachway chance.
Race 7
Paul Peter
No 9 Zabarjad – Might need the run.
Stephanus Botha
No 8 Kings Cup – Should still need this run.
Gary Alexander
No 1 Nimcha – Holding form, winning chance again.
No 3 The Bosbok – Distance suited, winning chance.
Race 8
Stephanus Botha
No 5 Movie Show – She’s well drawn and I expect her to run a nice race.
Alec Laird
No 3 Malteza – Working well, should be in the shake-up.

Feeling robbed that I left Flamingo park yesterday after a great bipot payout on Sunday.
I have taken the below patent
Race 2 - Intothemystic X Single red rose X Ration my passion.
I do not think much of the favs in race 4 & 5 they could win) so I had a small dip with adding the above on a small canadian.
Race 4 Oceans forest
Race 5 - Kratos power
And I could be totally wrong and all could go missing.

Corne Spies
No12 Roger The Dodger – Will need the experience.
2 Roger The Dodger # 20.00 25.00 33.00 36.00 45.00 50.00 40.00 30.00
They got the 50-1 they wanted with that comment.
This happens a bit too often for comfort.
