To get the quickmix races you got to open the free tabsheet from Tabgold.
If you follow their betting sometimes you in luck as the betting can be so far out yet help you in a way.
Have a look at the 1st leg betting of quickmix 2 today......
BETTING: 1-1 CHROMOZONE; 2-1 JEWEL OF PEAK; 6-1 BARBOO, DASHING HANNAH; 8-1 PATCHWORK JET
Look at their 6-1 horses...
Actual betting was Barboo 22-1 and Dashing Hannah 8-10.How they can be so far out is so misleading yet could have helped a few who didn't check the real betting.
Barboo won and the quickmix is paying R67 after one leg.

Morning Bob

In response to the thread "Free tabsheet quickmix", I can fill in some of the blanks.

The betting for International territories comes from an International supplier, generally within that territory.

We do the same for International customer's for local racing where we provide *forecast* betting.

One also needs to bear in mind, this is done days in advance for local venues and this betting is the opinion of the analyst.

We did query this specific race with the supplier and below is the response:

"No6 Dashing Hannah in Race 6 at Redcliffe was the best backed runner in the race and firmed from around 3.80 2nd pick early to start 1.90 favourite (shorter with most fixed odds Bookies 1.75). No4 was Favourite early but drifted badly in betting."

We hope that this answers the question.

Bookmakers also don't get it right everytime.

Thanks

Do yourself a favour and put forecast betting then.
Last leg of quickmix 2 today...
BETTING: 5-2 VANDANTA; 3-1 HASHTAG; 7-2 BRACKENREID, ANIMATED; 11-2 COURAGEOUS SAINT; 12-1 AND UPWARDS OTHERS
Vandanta actual price now 19-1 in Australia, was 8-1 but you guys where still some 300% out.
Lets see how it runs.

Vandanta ran a good 3rd paying R4 a place.
Got to add the horses that they price up much shorter than they actually are.

Hi Bob/"Durbs"

Durbs, thank you for your constructive criticism and this is noted.

The tabsheet will be amended accordingly, to read "forecast betting". This has been requested already so should be "corrected" in the next day or 2.

Kind regards

Hey Durbs, I usually find value by backing a horse that their forecast betting says should be short but is actually like 3 or 4x the price indicated. Doesnt always work but sometimes does. You can't please everyone with things like these, and quite an impossible job predicting market driven starting odds a few days in advance.

To be fair and its not always that easy.
Study the form and price up yourself and if you can find value out there, have a punt on where you think the odds makers have made a mistake.

Remember the horse does not know its price.

Two explanations in two days from the tote!!!
Usually they couldn't care one bit.
These trying times have made them start to value their customers.
Thanks for the replies and long may it last.
