Will PE be able to race? How many jocks will be available?

Sure if they leave stable politics behind there might be 6-8 jocks based in PE?

What is the point of opening up racing ? The open bet has still not been sorted out. The TAB betting shops are closed, what does everyone think the turnover is going to be ? Zero turnover = zero takeout = zero profit = zero stakes.
The time could not be better for all the role-players to sort this out.
Most punters that use the internet to bet on the exotics DONT add to the pools so how is this model sustainable ? We are on a hiding to nowhere.

.....the tote will be simply posting dividends for the bookies to pay out on at manipulated and adulterated odds .....

.....I'm so glad I have honed my craft on international co-mingled pools....I get my early morning fix in Ozz and a bonanza on Wednesday and Sundays when Hong Kong is thrown into the mix....I was once a very passionate racing man and with local racing a big fan....but all these blood sucking parasites bowing to the masters plan.... and when the sh!t really hit the fan....now I am one of many .....an ex local racing man.....:S

For the past weekend, payday weekend for some, the following pools reached these amounts.

26 April 2020

Hong Kong

PA - 33k
Bipot - 28k
Jackpot - 99k

Pools was not too bad for a morning start from 08h00 to 10h00.

Gulfstream Sunday Night

PA - 35k
Jackpot - 27k

It remains to be seen when we are back to normal, Level 1, if they continue with USA racing on a Sunday night. During December they did offer Sunday night meetings.

Would it hurt if they bring Pick 6 to HK Racing when Champ De Mars average pools of 60k on pick 6??

We will be lucky if they maintain the GP for Sunday night..they will rather revert to showing Racing news.

I hardly ever play the Pick 6 unless it is a big meeting. If they market it well, the pool could reach around 50k to 60k. If it is a carryover it should go to the next Hong Kong weekend meeting. As you know with the Foreign meetings and UK meetings nowadays the exotic pools are not carried over to the next meeting. The biggest drop is in the UK Pick 3 due to the pools not being carried forward to the last UK meeting. These pools was normally reaching R4000 and getting to around R10 000 when the pool was carried over.
