Also sports are still prohibited in hotspots?

You are correct. Only two-weeks after regulations are final will non-contact sports be allowed.

I’m sure they said that everyone needs to be tested first before they can start, if that’s the case then there will atleast be 10 day delay as there is such a backlog with test results. But I would imagine they might have done it already as vee has all the requirements on his approval notice

Excellent question!

Sports Minister I think talks on Saturday. Racing needs to appoint a COVID Compliance Team, Head of team reporting into NHA, put the above into a COVID Compliance Charter, add a few more functions which are required, include an indemnity, training has to be performed by a professional on all attending the race meeting logged and signed, tests need to be done once a week on all attending the race meeting, COVID Compliance must be included in the Stipes Report and published etc

I would get that right with Sports Minister and NCCC first then aim to race mid June.

Don’t rush for Monday, mess it up and have it closed please.

Right on Oscar. What with the uncertainty about Protocols, appointment of the COVID compliance team, discussions after meetings with the NHA, grooms..........
I feel for those trying to get the show on the road.

I hate saying “I told you so” however I told you so. Please Lord why don’t they discuss these briefings with the professionals.

Now watch what I say now, “ if you want racing to start soon, start at the Vaal” use it, don’t use it we will carry on paying our stabling fees

Anyone watch Neil Andrews YouTube show Clocking the Gallop last night?
Vee Moodley was smug as hell as regards what he has done to get racing back ? I this, I that.
Well, if racing does not resume on Monday, Vee should resign immediately.
How can you release a statement if you we’re not 100% certain racing was allowed from June 1.
