Race 1 Storyland and Eternal Hope have solid form and should be right there. Goodbye Love was green on debut and if ready for this trip is my value pick from draw 1. The dam is well bred and was a very useful racefilly.
Race 2 A tricky maiden as quite a few recently relocated from stronger centres. Evening Song is better over further but has the strongest formlines and is the one to beat. We have Silver Fountain running- is well suited to the 1200m turf and put up a pleasing run on the poly on her PE debut. Has a fair ew chance.
Race 3 Very tricky handicap. Perhaps Beethoven and Microbe for the PA. Go Goodfellow won his maiden on this course and distance and is a danger if reproducing that run, having come down to a very competitive rating now.
Race 4 Difficult to come into a race like this without prep runs, so fitness will be key. Rock Aloe and Bhaltiar look the best of the colts/geldings, but I like the chances of the fillies- Callandra, Wylie's Flame, Bold Strike, American Princess Palace Queen and Blushing Bride could all pop up. Blushing Bride's best run was this course and trip so she is my value play.
Race 5. Our best runner for the day is Elusive Heart. 1400m is the ideal trip for her- her best run was when winning the Prix du Cap as a three year old. My banker for the day.
Fortune Flies probably better further but looks the main danger. March Music and Ardenne on best form have chances at the weights. Luna Wish has a tough task at the weights and wide draw.
Race 6 Byridge and Global Drummer look the best two, with Fireview and Herrin also in with a chance. Unraced horses are a complication. Cyber Security is a somewhat optimistic entry here, but she has come on nicely and if she can improve a few lengths has an outside place chance.
Race 7 World Radar is obviously talented, but has run a couple of poor races in between her good efforts. Racine and Captain Anne Bonny are 1000m specialists, and I think are the value in the race, with the latter my first pick. There are plenty that can run into the quartet.
Race 8 A very difficult end to the day. Quest ran a fair race on local debut and is a very tentative pick, but plenty with chances.

Some of these lower ranked PE Jocks(also in other provinces) have a HUGE opportunity to shut out raiding Jocks if they perform during lockdown - I think Gould really needs to take up the challenge and keep Cheyne in the Cape indefinitely.
