Go National Colour
16 years 9 months ago
Any views from the clan on her chances. She was devistating in SA and I would love it if she won overseas.
I am worried about the undulating ground and if it comes up soft she may battle. If I remember correctly she got really tired and nearly never made the Scottsville 6f.
I just hope and pray that our bookies stay honest and give us the correct odds or at least the equivelant odds of the English bookies market. 14/1 at present
www.bluesq.com/bet?action=go_events&type_id=82 (not really sure where to look for odds)

There was nothing wrong with her UK debut, especially after that very long break and injury/op. Tiza and War Artist have done well enough in Europe. I don't see why she couldn't be more competitive than the 14/1 suggests.

The fav is 4/1 which suggests any of at least 10 horses can win this race. There are a few soft going specialists in the field.

3.05 in the UK. Think that's 4.05 here.
Going reportedly good so this 5 furlongs should be fine if she handles the undulating track.
Equiano currently favourite with Kingsgate Native. National Colour was only 2 lengths behind Equiano last time out when racing on the wrong side of the track and having her first start in 444 days. Currently 4/1 or 9/2 Equiano, 12/1 to 16/1 National Colour.

Was on the road and could only take the bet when I got home 7/1. What a disaster
