SCOTIA ON THE WEEKEND.

Good morning to the CLAN and I have had one hell of a week.

I must however remain positive and carry on regardless, but just for your info, the doctor says the severe twitch between my left eye and bottom lip will hardly be noticeable in six months if I take the 20 tablets a day, oh! the joys of having a website.

Well last night after taking my normal tablets, gout/high blood/anti-drink/severe twitch minimisers, I went to "Prosopa" restaurant in Waterkloof, Pretoria for a 5 star meal and "Glenrothes Malt experience" and what a superb evening accompanied by a couple of very grateful mates. What a night and a must visit to Prosopa if you want to impress your guests. Incidentally, the first bottle on trial was R650 and the last was R3,500 [only 59 left, in the country], when we left, still 59 left in the country, magic stuff, we were all given a little take-away, which I will keep for a special occasion [tonight, could be a good the correct time?].

The Olympics have been great and what more can we say about Bolt, magic to watch and hope you took the 33/10 on offer for him to break the World Record?
Was hoping for a better show from the SA team, but they have been as useless as a one legged person at a arse kicking competition [no offence meant Natalie, you were a true hero].

Racing has been poor due to the weather in the U.K. but hope to see National Colour run a big one today, poor Molly, has had a bit of a hard time visiting pubs instead of racetracks.

This is my last weekend at the big T for a couple of weeks and hoping its a big party for Gajima on his 50th birthday bash and a couple of winners to buy a few quid for my trip to sunny Scotland.

I am already looking forward to Summer Cup day on the 29th of November and with a bit luck meeting Frankie Dettori amongst others? Watch this space, plus a couple of competitions and V.I.P invites planned for a few lucky CLAN supporters, we will also be sponsoring a race with Interbet for the Julie Alexander Charity raceday on the 13th Dec, again have a few thoughts from the A.B.C side to ensure a special day.

I am off to the local farm tonight for a "T" bone [after medication] but easygoer is in Swazi, and he will be attempting to hit 29 and the neighbours, the reason I say attempting, is the last time we were in the Kingdom, instead of putting his "stack" on 29, he put his double whisky on 36, but all was not lost, as 36 arrived and we were settled 35 double whisky's by the pit boss after some confusion. back to the farm, the group has been growing by the week, so hope to see a few more interesting friends to compensate for the loss of easy.

Will post a few fancies for the weekend, but remember the sportingweb/blackpearl soccer we were on 21 entries for the A.B.C. league and I am sure we can reach the magic 25? Consider we have over 60 in the horseracing competition and plenty chances to lift a prize with 2 weeks to go.

good punting and may your God be with you.
