Had the privilege to visit both in their respective boxes and in the paddocks by Evette and as her stables are next to mine .They both look fantastic and I love to see them play on a regular basis in the paddocks. On a daily basis Im on a lookout what the 2 big boys do and how they work.
The love and attention they get is incredible, they very happy horses!

Bremner told www.goldcircle.co.za : “He is so naughty and has been causing his own little injuries. If I could geld him again, I would! We want to race him for a long time so I am not rushing him back, but he could well be seen in Durban again this year, he will be ready in time for that season.”

Regardless of how happy a horse his, a champ who has recorded his name in the book of Gr1 history should not be racing here and like this. FFS retire him!

From a punting perspective, I emptied my boots on American Landing purely because LE should NOT be racing and National park should be competing in features with a top jock, not like this. This is a shambles! I made a healthy fortune today but it breaks my heart to see LE still racing. What more do they expect of this horse???

Mac De lago, Legal Eagle... Short of Hawwaam running in Kimberly, I think I have seen sadness at its best!

Why shouldn’t we also feel sorry for all the other horses running in Kimberley and PE? A horse doesn’t care less about how many or what races it has run. I say the horse is far better off with a good racing stable than landing up in Soweto pulling carts.

maybe rather euthanize than force an animal to run that physically cannot perform anymore - this horse is feeling something so racing him is cruel - the stable has many many horses that can be pets and there is no real relationship with this horse as it was owned and trained by other people for the majority of its career so I cannot see this special bond - a horse may not "care" but as a responsible owner you should especially with a superstar like him who should be an advert for the good side of Racing (Imagine if he was the lead horse at PE with his name proudly displayed on the saddle cloth ) - and the part I ignored which others have brought up is the idea of the punter who is unaware that the trainer is racing him for fun -

Legal Eagle has made more than enough money to be intitled to a decent retirement, and laughable to comprehend why he would end up pulling carts in all places like Soweto, the way this horse has been treated especially coming from a leading stable in the industry leaves a bitter taste regardless however one tries to spin this. It's simple utterly disgusting and a shame

Says a lot about his new owner does it not? Actions speak louder than words.
