Another July upon us... Will we be in store for the same crashes like last year.. High vol etc and technicians are working hard... As we miss placing bets...

Client Pin or Password invalid- error back on Hollywood - I know how to fix it thanks to ABC but how mad is it that every time this error appears you have to reset your pin - twice this month ..

at least it is only 4 numbers you have to give for a password
what pisses me off is the clowns that want a password with upper and lower case characters, numbers and special characters - how the fuck must you remember all that shit?

I have reduced my spend on this July by 80% and fully expect that the online betting sites will crash or be so slow that i will lose interest.

I have been taking some bets this week already and know that it is to have an interest rather than expecting that any form study will make sense. I have made a promise to myself not to get angry and the bets placed are just to have an interest on the day. I am playing golf in the morning and then will watch some of the races later in the day. To take any punting on this July seriously is just not sane when considering how the deck is stacked against the punter;

1. Some horses have had 1/2 runs in 6 months others have had 3 runs this month
2. I have no idea besides GTGLight which horses have stayed in Durban & which have traveled
3. Did Singforafa travel back to JHB after the sprint or stay local? As an example...
4. I am placing early bets on horses that are still going to travel and will have no idea of their well being
4. I am structuring exotic bets based on luck and a laugh at this stage
5. I have no idea what the false rail settings are for the day at Greyville and when the changes happen

I am happy that the July is being run and that the race day is possible however GC have certainly missed the opportunity of keeping the betting public informed. In this age of technology the information available in the lead up to the biggest race day of the year is really substandard. Every trainer could have been interviewed last weekend to inform the people, who are expected to wager R50 million on the day, what the well being of every runner is.

The net result is that the punters will be in the dark and this will be a day of pure luck and chance....very much like roulette.
