The problem with taking early fixed price win/straight bets is that prices only become more competitive closer to the off time. Generally, the bookies’ margins are the lowest at the off.
We should not expect super pools if it depends on the once a year punter to deliver the golden egg. Are totes not still closed and how many will stand in a Covid breeding line with strangers for a once a year flutter if they are open. Cannot see anyone jumping through the registration hoops to have an online bet but hope i am proven wrong. Those that do might just play more regularly thereafter, so we will see.
