Not that it had anything to do with the jockey but they got to try an appie next time, maybe needs a gentle ride.

I wonder what questions ouf stipes will ask. Before a meeting the stipes would sit around and go through the card. Each runner would br looked at. If there was a change in Dist of more than 400m or the horse had been off for more than 6 weeks then no questions would be asked if the outsider suddenly improved. This horse has run twice lately and over these distances but suddenly wins after being 30l ..13l and 14 lengths back unplaced. So what now?? Let's not hold our breath for any explanation or suspension.

Doubt Paul Peter will be as stupid as he was before and dope the horse but surely the stipes have a duty to look into it as this trainer is known for doping his horses.
Somehow he got away with a fine when some others who did the same got warned off for life.

its not the ride - hes had other jocks that could not win but a 2.5kg claim could help him get home - but it seems he may have a problem because he falters when under pressure so maybe something wrong with him physically

and we must also ask how Master Mariner and Royal Tiger, who were rated better than most, finish behind a MR 52 and 40 -

Yip that result very hard to explain - only way to survive that is to take the field - but then you'd have to get very lucky somewhere else - carryover beckoning ....

Frodo...
R5: Could be a bit if a surprise here - Wonderful Rock not guaranteed to stay the extra 200 - Watching Closely needs to reproduce her last effort - for me I know Miss Cap Mala is very moderate, but at 10s I think she represents the each-way value with Nabeela her biggest challenger

Spot on Frodo
