But that was a ludicrous speed set upfront by Marcus,gave everything a chance to win from behind him.
Marcus not riding to his usual ability lately only 1 win from last 30 rides and no winners in in his last 27 rides.

if he had held on and won...we would be saying brilliant ride...you are damned if you do and damned if you don't...

not actually - the class ave is 98.72s- they did it 99.66s so not particularly quick - Marcus finished less than 2 lengths behind so the weight off - even 1.5kg - would have that horse in the first 2...
