SCOTIA AFTER THE WEEKEND.
16 years 9 months ago
Good morning to the CLAN and I hope we all had a good weekend?
A few highlights of which National Colour and Duke of Marmalade were very impressive and look forward to some more good overseas racing.
Having a look at the ante-post markets, in Australia we have the Cox plate on the 25th Oct. where the "superstar", Weekend Hustler should start fav, in addition Septimus is the fav for the Melbourne Cup on the 4th of Nov.
In France, no change of position for the Arc, and my early selection Zarkava is still the one to be with, now at only 9/2, hope you took the double figures?
As far as the U.K. on the 27th Sept at Ascot, we have the QE11 and Henrythenavigator the probable winner, the St Leger on the 13th Sept. is very open and Conduit is the early fav.
In Ireland, the Champion Stakes should go to Duke of Marmalade on the 6th Sept, no reason for O'Brien and Murtagh to stop the amazing run.
In the States we have the Breeders Cup Classic and the Breeders Cup turf, on the 25th Oct. so check the runners in all above events as its possible Duke of Marmalade and Henrythenavigator could appear in the States, to take on Curlin and Big Brown, so be careful with all ante-post punts.
Under our General posts we have "what to do with a dead body" with a few humorous replies, but my fav was "give it to Aiden O'Brien,he will probably find a small group one for it"?
On the soccer front Chelsea have been punted to evens for the league and are joints for the Cup with United at around 9/2.
I find an interesting market is the BBC Sports Personality, where Phelps and Bolt are joint favs.
The most Olympic medals went to USA and the most Gold's to China.
On the rugby, the tri-nations. where the All Blacks can beat the Aussies [sorry, no betting on the Boks].
Well only have a few days before I go home to see my Mum and I cant wait, but a few heavy days before that, please contact me via email, not phone as I will be trying to limit communications account, but all services re: the site should be 100%.
Should have some good stories from the Capital of Scotland.
Plenty racing today, on the local front a couple of days at Flamingo Park and a bank holiday in the U.K. where you can take your pick from Warwick,Kempton,Cartmel,Huntington,Chepstow or Ripon, I am sure we can find a couple of winners?
Good punting and may your God be with you.
