LOL
you can put 40,000 GBP on biden at 1/10 (not 1/100 or 1/1000) - not bad for a supposed done and dusted result

some people just know more than the other clever boys

don't put your grannies pension fund on it

and don't spend your "winnings" too early

The outstanding ballots are from Democratic strong-holds, very difficult seeing them overturning 43 001 ballots as all being irregular, fraudulent, from dead people, non-residents, add as many other reasons you want, you will not overturn 43 000 votes.

Truly amazing the majority of Republicans are very silent on this circus.

If one concentrates only on Pennsylvania, read what I wrote earlier...ALL those ballots accepted after 8pm on election day were required to be kept separately as the extension was done by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and governor when the legislature holds the authority to decide whether those ballots should be accepted and they didn't make the amendments...the reason Justice Alito asked for those ballots to be kept separate was that the US Supreme Court can made a final decision after the elections (was tied 4-4 before the elections and all 9 get to decide, I think, this Friday) of the validity of what the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and governor did...

So, in Pennsylvania it's not primarily about "irregular, fraudulent, from dead people, non-residents, add as many other reasons you want"...it's mainly about the time of receipt...

Good luck with that.

@bayern...if I said something factually incorrect, you would be correct to be dismissive...

Engage with the facts rather than the narrative...if I have erred in what I wrote, point out my error and we will both be enriched by a respectful debate...

Because the MSM, from where you seemingly get your "news", controls the current narrative...

The "glitches" will go from zero to negligible to some to not sufficient to alter the result to...

If nothing untoward happened, why the haste to close shop on any enquiry before the electoral college? This still has some way to go before some resolution and the 2 weeks after Friday will be indicative of the end result...

Get the popcorn out and enjoy the legal arguments play out...

TNaicker wrote: For the simple reason that it is the electoral college that determines the president and not the media...the media are trying to re-inforce the narrative of QPPJoe being the "president-elect" so that if the courts rule against the Democrats, they will say the judges appointed by DJT sided with DJT to steal the elections...

And state legislatures determine electors for electoral college...almost all the disputed states have Republican legislatures though 2 or 3 have Democrat governors...

In Pennsylvania, the Democrat governor, Tom Wolf, couldn't pass his elections wish list through the Republican state legislature so issued an executive order and went to the Democrat state supreme court to get it done...that is what the US supreme court deferred ruling on prior to the election as they were tied 4-4 (Roberts sided with the Democrat judges and ACB didn't participate as she didn't have time to review case)...what was requested was that the ballots received after 8pm on election day be kept separately but the Democrat secretary of state and governor had electoral officials not keep them separate and included them in count already done...hence Justice Alito had to remind them of the need to keep those later arriving ballots separately until US supreme court makes final decision...I think it is this Friday...

And in Michigan. a computer "glitch" allocated 6000 Republican votes to Democrat...when corrected, the Republican won the congressional seat...

There is more to come out...I think 10 days must pass after the election before disputes can be lodged so later this week should see DJT come forward to explain his contentions and proof in support thereof...

Long way to go to electoral college in December and Congress ratification of results in January...

just the beginning

Just the start.

One would think that by losing his Presidency Trump has a lot to hide and too be worried about. Imagine knowing deep down that there is a 90% chance of spending most of the rest of your life in prison.

bayern wrote: @ Lionel, these legal battles will go no-where. Here are three allegations lodged :-

They have evidence that 15 people who died some time ago, casts ballots, and that's not all, an additional 6 who are dead registered to vote. Even if they took these 21 ballots away from Binden's total, Biden is ahead by 1000's.

The Republicans have asked the Court to set aside the 8500 ballots which arrived late. Again, the margin of victory is in excess of 20 000, not sure that would swing the State vote in Trump's favour.

This is my favourite, they went to Court to say, "a friend, of a friend, of a ballot counter, witnessed ballot tampering". This third person hearsay of which they have no proof.

I think this is the net result of incestuous relationships.

Republicans stupidity knows no bounds, i shit you not.

Yes, the Democrats are very smart people. See how well they run their cities!

The weeping goes on, I hope that my gift of a pallet load of baby wipes and tissues arrive in time for the inauguration of President elect Biden as its apparent that some of the ABC Trump fan club will just not let go.

There’s barely any space between trump and Biden; they both represent the ultra wealthy and weapons manufacturers. Seeing conservatives shit their pants over this & seeing liberals celebrate as if Biden is some kind of revolutionary just shows the power of television. A lot of people like to reference Orwell to describe the current dystopia but I think it’s clearly more like Huxley’s A Brave New World.
Everybody wants a daddy to believe in... People quit believing in Santa Claus when they’re 10 years old but Americans will go to their grave believing that one of the political parties gives a shit about them. They are incapable of accepting that no one in power gives a shit about them. They cannot let go of this fantasy because then what? They’d have to admit they’ve been duped(Americans certainly not capable of that), the hopelessness would overwhelm them, and they’d have to think for themselves about how a society should be organized (ideology), something they’ve been bankrupted of over the last 40 years of corporate propaganda.

It’s amazing to see how conservatives have been trained like dogs to believe that the problems in their lives have all been caused by someone else(usually brown) that has no money and no power. Real brain genius stuff right there. If you’ve been convinced that people with no money and no power are the cause of all the problems in the world, then chances are you’ve been manipulated to believe that nonsense by someone that exists much much higher on the socioeconomic ladder then you. Joe Biden is a right wing Wall Street stooge, just like Trump. Get over it. Move on. Your life is not going to change AT ALL.

It’s a big club and you ain’t in it.

Also, the trumps hanging with Soros and Koch bros? Hmm, who knew
