I think the de Kock stable is in for a good day - took the double Kokeshi and Al Haamy

R1, Malmoos looks like the right one in the 1st race, the problem i have with a horse like Marrakech, he has had 6 attempts at trying to break out the maidens but has always found someone to beat him. Don't see that trend changing tomorrow.

R4, Kokeshi, the collateral form has held up, both the second and fourth finishers have come out and won next time out, from a decent draw i expect Kokeshi to win this.

One to consider, R3, Winters Power, think this will run a big race. The collateral form is fair/okay. No winners but bringing this one back in distance might be a smart move. Not a confident choice, but just hoping for a decent effort.

Malmoos and Kokeshi are my first choices on the card.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

hi all ...nice racing today to look foward to with the De Kock stable sending out a few interesting runners

will play around these today

MALMOOS the purchase price on this horse says enough
FOREVER LIGHT to challenge JONNY RIPON to the line
MILAN'S PRINCESS looks like a decent bet here , win
KOKESHI but you have to include SPICE MARKET in P6
AL HAAMY and CASTLE CORNER obvious contenders but i fancy the outsider ANCIENT ROME to be right there
GIN FIZZ and THE FIFTH WAVE to fight this out
BOHICA will take a good one to stop this one today BIG BLUE MARBLE good place value here
AL QAQAA race over good one this
DANCE CLASS like a very nice sort but i will take her on with BEFORE NOON and ODD ROB

enjoy and be safe

Malmoos all the rage Race 1 related to Duke of swing running Race 8 take a small double but marrakech to get it right today
Race 2 Johnny ripon second base
Race 3 large bay Lucy belle naledi based
Race 4 spice market
Race 5 proficient captain cupid
Race 6 gin fizz el Zara
Race 7 oravar American hustle
Race 8 Duke of swing royal escapade
Race 9 cairon brand new Cadillac earth sky

Can some one explain why st John gray basically running Dance class almost every 2 weeks?Surely this horse has done enough to be kept away for some minor staying features?

All the best

Spring is finally here - let's hope our racing can also have a re-birth - certainly would not take a lot to improve on the status quo - interesting card on the Inside track (although I can swear our TT expert just told it was the 'outside' track  )

R1: Hard to look past the money for Malmoos - looks a penalty kick taken the opposition into account - slightly akward draw, but really hard to oppose even if just slightly above average

R2: As is the case with the first race, not a lot of depth to this field - many seems to need racing - so almost by default Jonny Ripon finds himself a hot favorite and again due to the lack of any market support for the first timers, does look hard to beat - but this is racing and we may be left scratching our heads again ....

R3: Looks to lie between the top 2 in the betting - but I think Lucy Belle might make them run - fair debut, pole position, stable in form, so first choice for me; Scottish Primrose may need further, but who knows?

R4: I do like Kokeshi, strong form and for me I can't see Spice Market beating her; bigger danger may be the Alexander trained Rizzoli, who could improve this trip

R5: For me I think the de Kock stable is set for a red hot day, and Al Haamy ticks many boxes ; biggest danger to me is The Time is Now on his pinultimate, followed by Captain Cupid and Castle Corner

R6: Tough little F&M Handicap, I think The Fifth Wave will go close here, but it is competitive

R7: Again seems to lie between two horses, Urban Rock holds Bohica on form, but Bohica looks to have improved, so not cut and dried; Angel's Power has good form here, gets pole position, and could prove the value

R8: But for the draw, I'd make Al Qaqaa a good thing, but stable mate Var and Away has the draw and overdue to win; danger could be Royal Escapade, while Follow My Path is dropping in the ratings and may cause an upset over this shorter trip

R9: Dance Class still on the up, and looks for her 6th straight win - this is a set weights race though, so she may have her work cut out; Odd Rob genuine stayer and twice a winner this track and trip, tries blinkers and could be the fly in the ointment; Tyrus Express tries further, so who knows; real roughie to make the trifectas and quartets pay could be Brand New Cadillac, who also is sure to stay and needed his last run after a comeback.

Enjoy B)
