Fancy the Kotzen/Van Niekerk double races 6 and 7.

R6, Winter's Awakening, far from disgraced against stronger since winning it's maiden. Should appreciate going back over the 1800m in good to soft conditions.

R7, Third Runway, must be shoo-in here off the rating.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

race1 - difficult to take a bet with a few horses having decent maiden form hardekole looks the horse to beat being a colt should probably have more to come carlo has a wide draw jock and trainer in serious form.. expect a good run from real gone kid!!!

r2 - kitty cat chat another 1st timer from crawford and mr kieswetter owns just like the one in the 1st real gone kid 2-1 money is on and 2-1 is still value i think will shorten tomorrow

r3 - although mach four may seem hard to beat. i think h crawford holds the key here with fort agopian and alfreds legacy i will punt the placings on alfreds legacy from a good draw

r4 - i think this looks like a competitive race and one can make a case for almost every horse in the race my 1st selection would be brother louis purely based on being a 5 yr old recieving weight from 4yr olds

r5 - fillies and mares not my fav races but id go 1 2 3 and put all the mares in the race with midnight moonlight being my 1st pick having placed 3 from 3 at this course

r6 - this i made a field race on the day

r7 - third runway got a lot going for her and make it the best bet of the day

r8 - i think snaiths 2 fillies will fight this one out 7 8

p6
1.2.8.10 x 1.2.3.5.6.7 x 1.2.3 x f x 3 x 7.8

pa - 7 x 1.2.8 x 5 x 1.2.3 x f x 3 x 7.8

pa for me looks the best bet

best double
race2 - 7 kitty cat chat
race7 - 3 third runway

best multiple

RACE2 - 7 kitty cat chat (WIN)

RACE3 - 2 alfreds legacy (place)

race5 - 5 brother louis (place)

race7 - 3 Third runway win

i am gonna be small minded and say.

happy to see Hardekole did not win. that owner should have been blacklisted for his involvement in Mayfair speculators. Fiduciary blah blah.

Just wondering what the purpose of the presenter alongside Fiona is? He seems to ask her everything, along with expecting her to get all the trainer comments..

Can't believe we are getting 1/1 a place on Alfred's Legacy. Good value.
