That horse was clearly undercooked today - Direct your comments at the trainer, not Marcus, he did nothing wrong, if you really need to comment. To suggest that appie Zuma would've won on that horse today when Marcus couldn't is laughable at best.
Suggest you guys go and watch the ride on a horse called Arnold at Newcastle last night and then tell me your opinion on what is a good ride or not.
Trainer is on Facebook and posted updates on his runner since yesterday:
"Holding thumbs big time"
"Prep has gone well"
"She is looking good"
Scary how some think apprentices are inadequate and can't ride winners.
Give them chances and they will produce.
90% of the time they do lay-up work for the big boys to enjoy the cherry.
But alas,
Another great ride Anton on another favourite.
The horse was Marcus'ed as I like to call it.
Richard Fourie is the greatest...
