Rowing in with :-

R2) Fire For Sure, worth another chance in my book. If he flops his line tomorrow, i will leave him be, as he is not a genuine sort. From a decent draw, should be involved at the finish.

R5) Green Light Gal, looks very progressive, should be the right one in this line-up.

Really weird weather- scorching day on Thursday, and rain yesterday. Cool with showers today but the course going is good.
race 1 The scratching of Somerset Maugham opens the door for Adios Amigo to give Elusive Fort another winner. Futura's Hope good form but a wide draw. Dollar Brand should be in the quartets. Quite a few first timers to consider.
Race 2 Fire for Sure is my pick to beat the favourite The Gatekeeper. Morse is a professional maiden but should be in the shakeup. Again some first timers to complicate things.
race 3. Lite of my Life is improving and has a nice draw. The first timer T'Challa has attracted support so must be respected. Minister Without had good form before dumping his jockey a couple of times. Ossie Noach gets all the difficult rides, and if he gets the best out of this one he can win at generous odds.
Race 4. Arctic Ice, Iris and lady Catherine should fight this out. Gallic Girl a value place bet.

With the scratchings, this is tailor-made for Adios Amigos to win this. Did look good going to post.

Race 5 Some smart young fillies here. Green Light Gal impressive maiden winner. Captain's Flo, Social Butterfly, Viridian Light and Furure Tense all still on the up. They will be tested by the speedy mare Pippielangkous.
Race 6 Another strong group of fillies. On Captains Side is a narrow first pick from Vodka Lime and Mirage. Look To very impressive debut winner and could be anything.
Race 7 Very Open. Herodotus , Love Happens, Duchess of Bourbon and Silver de Lange my shortlist.
Race 8 Quite an open maiden. The value bet is Rosie Roan from a good draw and solid form. Quite a few improving sorts as well as first timers to consider- Isla Mauricio, In Your Time, Cape Batis, Marmalisa the main contenders
