Turffontein Inside, 03/10

Some of the more decent horses running tomorrow, hopefully the results will be more punter friendly.
R3, Traveling Wilbury (5/10, opened 7/10), not surprising, does look the one open to the most improvement if over-coming the draw and seeing out the distance. If she is to be beaten, then you can choose from a hat who that will be, bookies taking no chances.
R6, Anything Goes (15/10), first run in open company, and although out at the weights with Mill Queen (4/1), still make her the one they all have to beat. If she gets away on terms, nothing to suggest she won't, she should win this.
R7, Cirillo (22/10), well in here and probably the best course and distance suited. Has bumped the best, stable jock up, and from a decent draw should go close to winning this.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Some rain around today - not sure if the track got wet - but if it does turn up soft, it will put a spanner in the works - and I am already confused as there is not really any form around to compare the 3 yr olds to the older horses
In the first, Raeesa is tempting at the odds - stable had a red-letter day at the Vaal on Thursday, good draw and Mr Khumalo full of confidence
The 5th is interesting, as Cavivar is best in by far - not sure if Lyle had the choice, so who knows; also Due Diligence has both War of Athena and Ecstatic Green stone cold at the weights - so some strange jockey arrangements; True To Life often runs well fresh, and has a nice draw to boot; so tough to predict.
Mill Queen looks the right one in the 6th, but has a challenging draw; so both Alexander runners must be considered with Golden Belle who has a nice draw and should run well over the 1450, and then we have the 3 yr old
Spring Challenge another puzzle to me, would have preferred Tierra de Fuego, but the draw I think makes Cirillo the more likely of the 2 Tarry runners, Zoauves bounced back to form in his last run, and not out of it - but Lerena has deserted him in favor of Chimichurri Run, who ran 5th in this race last year - where interestingly Infamous Fox finished in front of him; I can't have Riverstown from that draw; and then we have the 3yr old
I fancied Kay Tee Perry last time, but seems to always lose ground at the start, and she has some strong competition in course-and-distance winner Trapiche, and the 3yr-old Moments Like This, would could be anything; then we have the 8 length maiden winner Paschals Samore getting heaps of weight - and interestingly on a line through Aberdare, PS holds MLT easily
And I may change my mind several times depending on the going ...
Enjoy

Cirillo my best bet on the card, P6 banker
It does look like favourites winning most races on the card, just my opinion

Still no clearer on whether the 3yr olds can hold their own at the weights; the filly in the feature, Anything Goes not that badly out at official terms with the older horses, but surely Mount Pleasant has to be something really special to match strides with Cirillo at these weights; after listening to the trainer, one has to think that Cirillo looks hard to beat - only thing that might stop him is if there is a shower before the race, as he has not done that well on a soft track
Cavivar in the 5th for me still good value - all seems in order with her according to the stable, so at those weights (if handling the turn) she will take a lot of stopping imo
In the last race, a roughie to consider could be Zulu Dawn, sure to improve on her last run which was her first since the re-start of racing, is a winner this track and trip and her rating has been dropping steadily
