R2, Two Pennies wouldn't have to be too smart to win here, especially with a half decent draw.

Double wit Carlo Collodi, R3.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Lovely day, course will be fast again, Moderate headwind
Race 1 Alpha Pappa selected to beat I did what I did.
Race 2 Cut Glass good form but a wide draw. Quite a few lightly raced that can improve - Kayc Al, Everglow, Captains Drift etc.
Race 3 Look fo Hounds can win this if repeating good debut run despite wide draw.Carlo Collodi looks main danger.
Race 4 Somerset Maugham failed in the wet last time- worth another chance here on fas ground. Black Duke and His Choice the dangers.
Race 5 Competitive race. Short list is Chat Ching, Veronica Mars, La Quinta and Noble Rhythym.
Race 6 Very open race. Pink Floyd and Pinkerton marginal preferences from good draws.
Race 7. Competitive race, and 3 of mine have ended up competing. Drama Queen has been frustrating this season, as she started off after the break hopelessly unfit, and then has been stretched to 1800m for a couple of features. This is her optimum trip, and hopefully the stable has managed to get her to a reasonable level of fitness. Last time put up 2kg overweight when otherwise well in, and ran below her ability. Is very well in here if she shows her best 3yo form. I am more confident than the trainer of a decent run, and I expect her to fight out the finish. Fynbos good comeback run, and missed a race when the meeting washed out. Is on the up and reported to be working well. Expect a good run from her. Secret Depths disappointing last time after two good prep runs, but expecting better today.
