Evening all talking about talented Cape jockeys yesterday Heavoln von den hoven rode in an amateur race at Windsor, does anybody know what happened to this jockey?when he was riding here he was quiet good and if I’m not mistaken won that 5 mill rand race for Puller stable couple years back, now I see he riding in Uk but amateur races only this is second time I’ve seen him riding in these type of races, surely he cannot be an amateur rider as he rode for couple years here or is Uk different rules?

Anyone with some info please assist as really like to find out

Thanks all

They put the lights out on Borodin in Yarmouth. Got back from 25s to almost 3/1. Horse was travelling under the hands.

Not saying it wasn’t Heavy

But according to his Facebook he was in Australia about a week ago.

And some of the results have the rider down as Heavy and the others as Mr Main

I’ve got a feeling it’s a Data issue as I’m not sure you can go from pro to amateur as quick as that and tbh it was a terrible ride

Will try and find out

Tho the horse needed the line; good ride from Garritty. Was shocked with the late money.
