Wish u well TDM, however this Covid shit has us nailed.

You must also try and swing an invite somewhere for example CHELTENHAM if they do open up.
If not mistaken it costs around 60 quid ( R1200) just to get into the track and the queue to buy a Guinness or have a bet are chock a block .

Sure Neil can arrange somewhere for you but it all depends on the China virus 😷

TEE M if your doing Musselburgh i`s wait until Late July early August and take in a racing festival in England and a few evening meetings including the Burgh (Me and Chicken can come meet you) We have a few clanners in England that can meet you for some racing doon there..

The UK is most likely going to be in some kind of Lockdown by March time (Cheltenham 2021) so you can plan for 2022

plus until the world trusts their visitors it`s going to be very expensive to visit anywhere at all in 2021 (quarantine and hospital deposits)

Check out Killarney in Ireland has to be the most beautiful scenery on the planet for a racecourse and the Guinness is awesome

Hi Bob Would definitely like to meet you and Chicken in Scotland. You both add so much value to ABC with your all round comments and insights. I missed chicken with his sabbatical as i do follow his markings in horses and sport. Now that I know Musselburgh is your turf I will give it harder go. chicken has best profile pic i have seen. Hoping latter part 2021we can travel again

The Birdsville Races, known as the Melbourne Cup of the outback, have been held since 1882 and have only been cancelled twice in the events history. Due to equine flu in 2007, and then COVID in 2020.

In May 2021 tickets were sold-out for the Sep 2021 meeting.

Again, because of Covid, the Sep 2021 meeting has not been cancelled but now postponed to April 2022.

Only the balance of any refunded tickets will be resold from Oct 2021.
I will again be pushing my luck in Oct.
Watch this space.

Birdsville is about 1500km west of Brisbane so a two-day drive from Brisbane. The races are a two-day meeting so need to plan for 6 days!!!

Tellytrack covered it.
Great racing to watch, but don't have a bet there. Can't rely on the form at all.
