I am aware the presenters give a good account of how the runners look and go down to start with their opinions.
They are clearly focused on tote and difficult to promote a horse paying around R1.30 on tote when books are offering 14/10 but I feel its important to highlight this to the punting public, if massive drifts are obviously happening without a mention to the public.
Just my opinion.....

Attorney General the one to be with, difficult seeing a three year old winning over this distance this time of year.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

2 Black Knap 1.85 2.00 2.25 2.55 2.65 2.50 2.85 3.00 3.35 4.50
Bookies got the drift right yet again, ran a mediocre 4th.
These okes get the best info about the horse's well being, they know more the trainer.

Another very smart Elusive Fort 3yo. Exciting times for the stallion.

The NHRA needs to talk to these Cape jockeys and put the lot on warning - They refuse to go a pace so half the horses running are fighting most of the way - Why do owners tolerate this behavior

The best thing I saw today(considering the host of false races) - That horse really looks special as the second horse is very decent - WD to the connections

Just some additional information on Elusive Fort and Kommetdieding for those not in the know. PeterD will be well aware of.
Elusive Fort dam is Ever Seeking. Ever Seeking was in Colin Lee stable and raced in purple colours with a green cap.
Ever Seeking dam is Epoque and her granddam is Elysee. Elysee produced all of Epoque, Ecurie and Empress Club all of which are Grade 1 winners.
Kommetdieding granddam is Dacha who was a hard knocking filly from the Cape who won some listed features and maybe a Grade 3 event.
I had a bet on Kommetdieding which made the win more sweet.

I missed some good racing y’day. Looking at the quality and results, and for the sake of my wallet, it is just as well I did miss [emoji33]
