Lucy Belle scratched - anyway I thought Legal Star hard to beat (if they managed to sort out her issues) on the run behind War of Athena; danger imo is Rosaprina - put up her fair debut and could improve this trip

As to Iron Mike, has to prove he gets 1400, but a prime draw and a ratings drop does bring him into this - needs to beat My Kingdom imo

I like the same in race 3.

First two juvenile races. Nice to see sires like Rafeef and William Longsword whom I think are first-time stallions.

Course configuration 8mt spur into the straight. Could suit the wider drawn runners and be the undoing of inside drawn horses [ remember Mount Pleasant]?

ATM's like the daughter of FRANKEL and the NO.99 are proving costly to follow .

These juvenile races always a bit of a guess - and let's face it, the betting no longer providing the clues one needs to survive the BP and PA; I see both Magner babies (especially Retallick) shortening in the betting - will watch with interest

R3: Mentioned already that I fancy Legal Star with the danger being Rosaprina; first-timer Greenhill seems fancied as well, but one would need to watch the betting on that one closer to the off.

R4: Number 99 overdue; first-timer Namib Desert may be good enough to demote 99 to the second box again; can't find anything else

R5: Open looking handicap; on form My Kingdom looks the right one, but has a slightly wide draw to overcome; quite a few others need to be considered as well, Indlamu (also drawn wide), City By The Sea (too high in the ratings imo); Back to Black, Miss Khalifa and Fresh from the US all seem held by MK; Iron Mike gets a rating drop and pole position, but the 1400 may be a stretch; Melchizedek has the draw and his rating keeps dropping, so may be the biggest danger to MK; Emaline faces stronger and not for me

R6: Interesting handicap; at first glance Prospector looks a shoe-in, but his last race when beaten by Pack Leader may not be as strong as it looks - on a line through Bold Matador, P ran to his rating, so I'm willing to take him on with Ice Lord who I think is ready to win; however on their last meeting, Eliud needs consideration as well; The Eighth Lord cantered in last time, did get an 8 pound rise, so may find it tougher, but not to be ignored; Major Return's last run can probably be ignored as he was bumped, and not a lot between him and IL either; the other Azzie inmate Cairon also could be a threat given riding arrangements - not easy

R7: As per the betting, very tough F&M Handicap; first choice for me is Plum Field, who seems overdue for that 3rd win, biggest dangers imo include Fly North, One-Oh- Wonder and the recent maiden winner Euphoriant, who looks well weighted here; obviously there are others to consider like Tartan Dancer and perhaps Anatura (but that one seems safely held by PF); for me I think Pin Up has a lot to do at these weights

R8: Due to the open nature of the previous 3 races, one might be tempted to go short in the P6 here, but again not easy; the one I would take chance with is the favorite Kwite a Trip, big weight but does seem capable and this is only a 1000, so might be able to get away with it; not a lot of others can be ignored though if KaT does get beat

Enjoy B)

As summed up by Frodo a tricky card.
Alexander stable give Prospector a winning chance today.
Good luck to Oscar
