Nice to see the babies out and betting moves close to race time will be the best indicator
Doppio Oro in the 7th looks value at 7/1 , will be my one bet on the day

Real Advisor unlucky in work riders races pulling many lengths clear of the 3rd horse...GVN on stronger jock 5s a good price for a bet
Pink Tourmaline pulled out of Sat G1Fillie Guineas could be way above this field 3s was a decent price

Not much wind today, and we are on the summer course with the long run in. Only 2 races around the turn, but in those, horses that come from off the pace thus must be considered after a long spell where front runners have been advantaged. Quite a tricky card.
Race 1 Unraced babies, no selection
Race 2 Duchess of Sussex good debut and is the one to beat. Bite My Lip next best. Some first timers and lightly raced runners that could pop up.
race 3 If Captain Dizzy is fit then should win this. His Choice looks next best, but again a few unknown quantities.
Race 4 Glacier Gold good improvement last time and easy to back at 5/1. There is this weird prejudice against maiden winners first run in handicaps which is just bonkers. This is quite a competitive field, and many others with chances.
Race 5 Another open race. Hyde Park looked very smart his first three but flopped last time. If at best must be respected, but price is too skinny. I like the bottom weights, Ticket to Ride, Alter Ego and Real Gone Kid.
Race 6 Another open race. Walk of Fame impressive maiden winner and my first choice. On Captain's Side is talented and this is her optimum distance. Not sure why Major Attraction reverts to a sprint after two good wins around the turn, but she was disappointing in the feature last time, and Dark Crystal appears to be the stable elect.
Race 7 Open race. Lion's Head has been costly to follow, and a wide draw, but may enjoy the longer run in. Other improving 3yos like Mach Four, Double Blue and Kaptein can all be involved. Doppio Oro and Nixon will test the youngsters.
My runner, Elusive Tango, has missed two planned races with minor issues and so may need this run slightly. The form of his maiden win has turned out to be reasonable, and I think he is fairly rated. His work has been good, and If fit enough can run into the money, but should come on from this run.
Race 8 Pink Tourmaline is a progressive and talented 3yo, and is the one we have to beat. Its very open if she fails.
My filly Fynbos has been very unlucky her last two starts when running into traffic problems and last time being in a hopeless position when trying to come from last on the winter course. She will relish the summer course, and I think that she is very good ew value for money at 12/1. Marina beat PT at level weights, and we gave Marina 2kg last time for 3.35L, and we now run at level weights with PT. Obviously the favourite has more scope for improvement, but I think that we can give her a go.
