Yet another farce at the start with the shortest price horse of the Exotics.

Surely our vets cannot be as bad as our farriers.
I hope we don't see that Desert Pride was injured in the stipes report.
It's very possible that it got injured when it reared.

We've had this discussion before, still believe it doesn't matter the price of the horse that reared, it should be withdrawn in the best interest of everyone concerned - if the horse could talk, it would tell the vet how it feels, because it's not limping, it is deemed fit to run - that is so wrong - this is farcical.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

would it not be prudent that the moment a horse well-backed like that runs badly the commentator readsout the stipes report including jockey trainer and vet comments(i often hear that in KZN) so that punters know where their money went - This is not from the pocket as i brassed that horse completely and even told my betfair mate to lay

And it would teach our trainers to school their horses properly.
In England your horse breaks through the gates it's scratched automatically.
