SCOTIA ON HIS TRAVELS.

Good morning to the CLAN and hope you are still backing the winners?
Have returned from an excellent time in Majorca and Palma is my type of town, we must arrange a CLAN gathering in this lively little town to give them an alternative to walking about half naked 24/7, could not find a tote or bookies, so maybe a potential marketing exercise to get them involved in racing is the way to go?
Its a bit late with regards a new competition, but will have something up an running today for the weekend so ....watch this space.... and I again see that our winner Brian has again asked to have his prize given to the Natal Horse Care Unit, which I will arrange shortly.
Big racing from Ireland this weekend, plus everyone is talking soccer with the SA 2010 Kicking off this weekend, will probably find myself a nice pub in Edinburgh to join in the festivities.
We are going into Edinburgh today and the weather is pretty good, but nothing like Palma.
Hope Molly recovers from his gout attack, must be serious if he is in hospital, get well soon my friend.
Will try and post a few photos soon.
Good punting!

The coverage on the race between Duke of Marmalade and New Approach, is great, the racing post weekender is a great read and have no idea who will win, but should be a classic.

Dave, I believe that the more 'give' in the ground - the more it will favour New Approach - my tuppence, Jim.

Jim will make a choice in the morning, if any? would hate to go against Obrien/Murtagh, but it could be the right one, plus we have it on the home page!

Good morning from another rainy day in Bonnie Scotland where the racing continues to be poor and THirsk and Fontwell are on offer today, so we can hope to see the racing from France and Ireland, where the Obrien stars are due to run?
Its possible that the Duke might be scratched? and Henry has a difficult task.
I hope you guys remember the competition at Clairwood, where they show the early races in the bookies.
good punting
