This is a very trappy card, and with half the races on the program being Divided Handicap races, makes things a lot more difficult for punters.
I have singled out Race 3, to try and find a winner. I think the favourite, Brave New World (18/10) is a bit short in the market, considering she is going the distance for the first time, concedes 3.0kgs and more to the market rivals, and has a habit of being slow away. If she doesn't get away on terms, she could be chasing the race - the good old, "you cannot give weight and start".
I fancy third favourite, Duplicity (4/1). This horse won comfortably last time out, and the second placed finisher, Starboard, confirmed the formline, also winning comfortably by a little over 3 lengths. Don't be put off because Domeyer is not riding, he can't make the weight. Duplicity could be better than rated and should take some stopping.
Played the treble :-
R2) Camps Bay X (R3) Duplicity X Kommetdieding (Saturday)

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Sunny day with a moderate headwind expected. Corse running fast.
Race 2 Looks a boat race Captain Dizzy and Camps Bay, Real Advisor next best
Race 3 Our mare Secret Depths is fit and well and gets a good draw. Expect her usual game run, but up and coming 3year olds are hard to assess.
race 4 Our girl Grey Princess ran a good race last time and is usually thereabouts. A very open race. Ruby and Roses last run was too short and if repeating her penultimate is very well in at the weights and could give Corrie Lensley his first winner in CT
Race 5 Double Charge, Salvator Mundi, The Second Wave and Savannah Buddy my shortlist
Race 6 Oh What a Night, Celtic Night and Viridian Light the shortlist
Race 7 Skidoo, Real Gone Kid and Mr Cobbs the form horses. Hail Columbia poor last but capable
Race 8 Yet another open handicap. De Bull, Fighter, Baltimore Jack the shortlist

Race 2 - Captain Dizzy has strongest looking form if ready after gelding.
Race 3 - Duplicity impressed and looks better than rated. Larentina should prefer the extra and rating has come down a fair bit.
