Munger wasting his time in SA. Not getting the best of rides.
He is young enough to ply his trade overseas.

A) AMERICAN PRINCESS (R Munger) refused to canter to the start and had to be led by a handler. Trainer A C Greeff was advised that should this filly behave similarly in future it may be suspended.
AMERICAN PRINCESS post-race distress syndrome.
I really wish the stipes would be proactive and post info like this straight after the race . It should be par for the course that the commentator reads out important info like this before the next race to stop punters speculating and just actually because it's the right thing to do. There are so few punters that read these reports so they rather sit in the totes saying Jockey X is a crook and the Trainer had him pull the horse for a price - It's long past the time of Earls and Dukes racing and plebs watching - Tell us why we lost or won our money instead of behaving like members of the Royal family!

Thanks Mr H.
What is post race stress syndrome?
in the race it looked as if the horse broke down 300 - 400 meters out.

I think it is like extreme exhaustion - I have seen some come back with that diagnosis and collapse in the parade ring -

and here's the thing...when jocks pull the horse out...to save the horse...they catch the flak...
there are too many horses that are allowed to race when they don't stride to post well...it irks me greatly...If the horse didn't want to canter to post...WTF would it want to race home...

Not about this ride but the same jockey was questioned about a ride
also in PE
The trainer was happy and said so I then looked at the Stipes Board on that
day
It is a joke
I would take odds on that not one of that board has ever sat on
a horse
There was Mr Hyde 2 learner stipes and another called by
something else but obviously even lower down the ranks
