Has there ever been a more useless form guide?

How bad are these people that put together the free tab form for the quickmix.
Where they find the betting for Australian harness is a mystery.
BETTING: 4-1 HES THE JUDGE; 5-1 ROCKNROLL RHYLEE; 11-2 CAYMANGONE, LETS HUSTLE; 7-1 HAYJOSHANDCO; 15-2 CARRAMAR BROMWICH; 10-1 LOUTHPARK XSRESSO; 12-1 AND UPW
1st leg winner was Rockowsroad at 9-2 and according to them 12-1 and up.
BETTING: 6-4 HEAVENS SHOWGIRL; 3-1 RUN FOR MERCY; 7-1 WESTBURN YIELD; 8-1 GO HOME JO; 12-1 AND UPWARDS OTHERS
2nd leg not too bad but still off, winner Heaven's Showgirl at 5-10 and they had it at 15-10
BETTING: 5-2 PERSIUS; 3-1 CRUISING BELLEW; 6-1 ASHER ABBEY, NIGHTWATCHMAN; 7-1 CHLOE ANN; 8-1 CHAMPAGNE LEGACY, LILLYSHELAINE
According to them Cruising Bellow was 3-1 before the scratching of the favorite.
Cruising Bellow was actually a 25-1 shot.

It’s not about the stress it’s about if you can’t do something this simple properly just don’t put the betting in as it’s misleading the public.
I don’t bother with their betting as tabtouch give you the betting but the R6 punter in the totes rely on this publication.
Everything our tote touches seems to be a balls up,simple as that.
That PA pool last week this time of R1.7 million hasn’t even come close to repeating itself and the tote tell us the pool was correct.Today it’s just over R400 000.
They obviously think we live under rocks.

Durbs, as an exotics punter, would you prefer the operator to give accurate odds or otherwise?

So what you saying is that if something is free it's free for a reason?

Haven't looked at one of those sheets ever since they stopped putting the breeding of first timers on them, asked around but nobody could give the reason

Just to show how many people actually use this piece of paper for their info....
Live Tickets 753.03
Horse Tickets
1 Anatoli 145.13
2 Aplaud (IRE) 4.21
3 Bantry 103.14
4 Beau Amir (IRE) 15.52
5 New York City (IRE) 420.45
6 Skatingonice (IRE) 43.40
7 Redbud (IRE) 21.17
Here we have the second favorite carrying nearly 3 times the amount of tickets the favorite has on it.
1 Anatoli 1.25 1.33 0.83 1.00 1.11 0.91
5 New York City 1.00 1.33 1.74 1.82
This was pretty much the betting before the PA quickmix started.
And this is why
This is the forecast betting the Tabsheet has...
BETTING: 2-5 NEW YORK CITY; 6-1 BANTRY; 8-1 ANATOLI; 10-1 REDBUD; 12-1 AND UPWARDS OTHERS

Durbs you have to understand that the early betting is a guide.
The New York horse was priced up short because it cost 600,000 pounds and has Group 1 entries.
The result of Anatoli becoming fav was that it won 2 trials on the course and the informed money was on the horse.
Nothing is straight forward and sometimes you have to do the homework and not be influenced by the betting.

I do understand that Mike and believe me I never go by the betting on the tabsheet as they have been horribly wrong many a time.
I go to Attheraces site and see the proper betting there and form and comments.
But what I'm trying to show is that so many people actually go by what the tabsheet says as seen by the vast majority of tickets on the second favorite all because they thought it was a 4-10 shot.
A lot of punters seems to rely on the tabsheet.
