Good Queen Bess info.
No information on pedigreequery on Good Queen Bess. The dam Golden Reign never broke its maiden but,
The granddam of Good Queen Bess, Fleche Dor, has produced, Golden Horn.
Also Dhahabi, a Frankel Colt. I read somewhere the highest paid for a horse at an auction in the year that it was sold. Around about $4 million dollars.

Just a word of caution before every one gets carried away - as per Formgrids her time was the slowest of all 4 races over the 1160 today - the juvenile filly in the 2nd beat her by more that 6 lengths - if the times are correct of course

IMO she only found her legs the last furlong, if they had gone faster she would have won a lot easier

Her Time was exceptional bearing in mind she is going to win multiple Group races over >1800m
She is 6 months younger than her peers.
When the penny dropped she motored.
We will look back in 12 months and all say "remember her debut"

I'm not familiar with the breeding, so she may of course be better over further - all I'm trying to point out is that over this trip her time was the slowest - and even being 6 months behind, that still makes her 6 months older than the juvenile

I couldn’t find the northern hemisphere weight allowances in the revamped “handicapping” in the NHRA website. Does anyone know them?

No HORSE foaled north of the equator between 1 January and 31 July shall be eligible to run as a two-year old.
In weight-for-age RACES, HORSES conceived north of the equator and born in any country between January 1 and July 31, shall receive a hemispheric allowance as set out in Appendix J.
Appendix J
AFRICAN HORSE SICKNESS VACCINATION PROGRAMME
Sorry MAC dunno which appendix J they are referring to.
