Magic Choice....the only negative,her worst run was over this cd,i dont have the patience to analyse that just yet

Meet The Captain is inconsistent but can grab a cheque on best history

My first love is to dogs,then horses

Did not dissect the race but when studying the third i can see Star Effect as possibly a good place prospect.Nussply was my original place fancy but Stenger's should be on top,maybe something to build the kitty with,Good value presently

well what you know KAYLA takes her place today

Mixed bag sort of a day with some very tough races and some that look past the post - thoughts:

R1: Gold Storm looks hard to beat IF he gets the trip; Nussply the obvious one to take advantage if GS fails; Sitting Bull place chance while Global Player gets a tongue-tie and has found early market support - so could surprise

R2: Interesting to see a 2yr old in open company this early - but it is April Fools day; obviously way out at WFA, but this does look a moderate lot, so who knows; Gilboa and Fort Commander the pick for me of the older runners

R3: Not the strongest looking field, so Miss Costa Rica does not have to be that special to feature here; Magic Choice looks best of the raced runners

R4: Should be a case of 'how far' for Cornish Pomodor, with Dr Doolittle making up the exacta

R5: Very competitive handicap; like everyone else, I'm loading up

R6: Another difficult handicap where Castle Durrow looks well in (not sure what happened last time), and it could be worth noting that Rouge Allure has 4 wins and 4 seconds this track and trip

R7: I was one that got hurt by Florentine last time, but with hindsight she really had to be lot better than rated to win in that field; still she ran well above her rating, so I think today she will prove very hard to beat; Me Time is running close up at this level and could be the one that gives the most cheek

R8: A Classified Stakes, where 4 runners are joined at the top in the 'best weighted' column; so obviously not easy; I do think though that Soul of Whit will finally get it right today (593 days in trying); she looks well in with many of the competition and good value at the price imo; stable companion Tartan Dancer will enjoy the give in the ground and could be the main danger imo
