Home safe and sound hit the road early and after avoiding plenty pot holes we were cruising until Gilhoolys, crash with 2 trucks so Google maps are correct.

As far as a day at the Vaal, with the exception of Humbles poor performance??

The track was magic and a real country atmosphere vs Turffontien, which I actually preferred.
Good old basic menu, steak egg and chips, toasted sandwiches etc.
All reasonable prices including drinks and great friendly staff.
We had a waitress Jess, very efficient and was wearing the safe silk as we using for Humble (Georgies lucky silks) .

Great bar added to a highly recommended trip.
