Some to consider...

Race 2 - 14 Elmo
Race 3 - 5 Aisling
Race 4 - 2 Coral Copy

All the best to all Clanners...stay safe and healthy...officially over 4000 daily infections yesterday (we were at under 1000 daily infections 2-3 weeks ago) so be careful in wherever you go...best to minimise / eliminate interactions with anyone outside one's household...
Vaccine no guarantee of immunity or worse...180000+ deaths in US in last 4 months even with availability of vaccines and roll out thereof...

Race 3: Pelargonium found some shrewd support on debut and ran on really well , like a horse that could pay to follow , will be my banker on the days card

Race 9: Lady Tiptree , this jock and trainer combination had a nice winner last meeting and with the 4kg claim could get the better of the Miller horse which has solid form , my double hose for today

HOLLYWOODBETS SCOTTSVILLE 23 MAY
- Andrew Harrison
1
9 CAPTAIN TATTERS 3 SELLA ACT 11 ZIVA LA WINTER 6 GO MAN GO
Preview: Work riders races in KZN are always tricky but CAPTAIN TATTERS (9) has smart form over the trip and rates the horse to beat. STELLA ACT (3) won her last race OVER course and distance and is smart on her day. She should be right there. ZIVA LA WINTER (11) is quick and has been facing useful company at recent outings. GO MAN GO (6) is never far back and has an accomplished rider aboard. (Andrew Harrison: 9-3-11-6).
2
14 ELMO 15 DESERT CRUSADE 1 PASHTUNWALI 2 LOVE ON TIME
Preview: Mostly first timers. Of those that have run, ELMO (14) was narrowly beaten in his Turffontein debut and must rate the one to beat. The rest need to show good improvement. The betting will be your best guide here. (Andrew Harrison: 14-15-1-2).
3
13 IMBEJEJE 6 PELARGONIUM 9 SHIELD MAIDEN 5 AISLING
Preview: Many first timers. Of those that have run, IMBEJEJE (13) has been narrowly beaten in both starts and can match this field. PELARGONIUM (6) made a smart debut and should come on lengths from that. SHIELD MAIDEN (9) is a half-sister to the champion filly Via Africa and is one to watch. AISLING (5) is the only winner in the field and ran in a feature last start. She must have a chance here. (Andrew Harrison: 13-6-9-5).
4
8 VICTORY TWIST 10 MAESTRO SONADOR 15 BROADWAY 9 ELLIS ISLAND
Preview: VICTORY TWIST (😎 has come on nicely with each outings and should handle the step up in trop. MAESTRO SONADOR (10) disappointed last run when favourite but his form before that was solid. He seems to be looking for this trip. Stable companion BROADWAY (15) was a beaten favourite at his second start, his first on the poly. Difficult to assess but could well prove pick of the yard. ELLIS ISAND (9) is battling and well beaten last run but can run into the money again. (Andrew Harrison: 8-10-15-9).
5
1 MASTER VISION 7 FADE TO BLACK 3 CUPID’S SONG 4 BLACK FOX
Preview: Wide open. MASTER VISION (1) made marked improvement first up in blinkers over course and distance. He has the best of the draw and some luck in the running should see him right there. FADE TO BLACK (7) needed his last sprint after returning from a break. Back over a better trip he should be competitive. CUPID’S SONG (3) battled from a wide draw on the poly last start however that form has been franked. He faces modest company here. BLACK FOX (4) has his third run after a break. He is useful on his day and is one to keep an eye on in the betting. (Andrew Harrison: 1-3-7-4).
6
15 GOLD SEASON 7 STRAIGHT SIX 6 WALTON HALL 3 CAVALIERI
Preview: Wide open. GOLD SEASON (15) has the worst of the draw but took on much stronger last run and was much improved in blinkers. Some luck in running could see him home. STRAIGHT SIX (7) was a recent maiden winner from a tough draw. He had been showing steady improvement. WALTON HALL (6) had his consistency rewarded last run in spite of a difficult draw. He seems to be in a good space and can follow up. CAVALIERI (3) was well beaten by Walton Hall last run but has a better draw here and the extra should suit. (Andrew Harrison: 15-7-6-3).
7
11 SILVER MARIA 8 MAIDEN’S PRAYER 1 WISHFUL GIRL LINN 6 ALFONSE BABY
Preview: SILVA MARIA (11) has her third local run after a break and looks primed for this event. The stable has been quiet for some time now but MAIDENS PRAYER (😎 has been up against stronger of late and is also dropping in the ratings. The blinkers are back on and she may be the one to be with here. WISHFUL GIRL LINN (1) has shown good form in useful company of ate and this looks to be the right race for her to add to her winning total. ALFONSE BABY (6) was a little disappointing last run from a wide draw but is way better than that. (Andrew Harrison: 11-8-1-6).
8
11 SPYDAS CORNER 12 BLAZE OF SILK 8 HAIL COLUMBIA 6 CANDY GALORE
Preview: SPYDAS CORNER (11) does not have the best of draws and has a fair weight. But he does look progressive and should go close in this field. BLAZE OF SILK (12) loves this course. Will go close again. HAIL COLUMBIA (😎 is not the easiest and returns from a lay-off after a sojourn to the Cape. If he decides that it’s his day, he could be hard to beat. CANDY GALORE (6) takes on males but is smart although she does have a big weight to shoulder. (Andrew Harrison: 11-12-8-6).
9
2 OVER THE BAY 1 HONOKALANI 5 TABEBUIA 10 NEVER ENDING LOVE
Preview: Tricky race with a number of two-year-olds. OVER THE BAY (2) is battle hardened and has shown promising improvement at recent starts. He was probably in need of his last effort. HONOKALANI (1) has put in two smart efforts on the poly and stays the trip. From a good draw he may be the one to beat. TABEBUIA (5) was a distance fourth on debut over course and distance but should have learnt from that run. NEVER ENDING LOVE (10) always tries had and with a claimer up must be competitive. (Andrew Harrison: 2-1-5-10)
