The going in all probability will come up soft, so the races down the straight should be interesting, up the inside or down the stand-side rail.
A few i hope go well :-
R5) Gertrude Bell, despite being bottom of the betting board, i think is a runner here. If allowed to run free from the get-go, she could be difficult to peg back, or so i'm hoping.
R6) Safe To Assume won a good race on debut, was headed about 200 out but fought back gamely. That form was franked by runner up Princess Santo and again by Royal Flush, who was beaten by Princess Santo.
R7) Bereave, whilst back in distance, the going might assist over the 1200m. If not outpaced early, will fetch the front runners at the business end.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race 3: Act of Thunder, very promising debut third and with natural improvement should be good enough to beat Mr Frostie who has had a few chances

Race 1 : Fusillade , nice to see young Dixon in the Cape for this ride , priced a bit short but not the strongest field ever assembled so should be good enough to win
