Happy but surprised 😮

Don't think it means anything - declarations only due next week

See she is also nominated for the Garden Province - where it seems she has drawn pole position

Crown Towers was withdrawn. Interestingly has been supplemented now.

The weekend in the Hollywood competition I was leading after Rainbow Bridge won. Had Speed Machine and Ventriloquist after that. If Ventriloquist won the last race I could have picked up 250k.

The fact that they had withdrawn Crown Towers from the July, I decided to go for African Night Sky despite the layoff. Crown Towers is a dangerous front runner against Grade 2/3 type runners.

They have Silver Host this weekend who needs to win to get in.

Surely in the interest of fairness you should get your stake back - or automatically re-instate the bet at the current odds ?

I think they have realized they need a pacemaker - and I doubt if Silver Host will go for the July - imo more likely will run in the Gold Vase

I do think Atyaab may get a run in the big one should they wish - otherwise the Gold Vase also an option

Back to level 3 with 50 indoors and 100 outside, will this mean no owners again?

Their silence has been unacceptable IMO but šŸ¤ž

Hi Dave
I think that you are being too harsh re WOA. The connections have a tough decision as to whether to run in the July or the Garden Province. In their shoes I would also wait until I had all the possible information about the two fields before committing. The ante post betting market I’m sure is the last thing on their minds, and rightly so.
This is a very strong July, so although she would be a real contender, there are half a dozen tough nuts to crack. However, winning the July is on every owners bucket list. The Garden Province would be a two horse race between her and Captains Ransom, and if they meet there could well have an impact on which of them is voted Equus Champion 3yo filly. It would make for a thrilling contest.
With the plum draw, I suspect that they may end up opting for the Garden Province, but they are surely entitled to do whatever they feel is best for them and their star filly.
Normally, one would be concerned about a triple tiara winner performing at her best in the KZN season after a hard Gauteng campaign. However, in her case, apart from a bit of cheek from Anything Goes in the Guineas, she was never seriously challenged, and even the Woolavington was a relatively easy win for her.

As always Peter respect your opinion.

Mine was on behalf of the punters .

The horse has doubled in betting over the last couple of weeks from 7/1 to 14/1 .

So one would get the impression that the decision has been made ? Without sharing this with the punters.

Time will tell

Good Punting
