Chimichuri Run to set pace for Cirillo in the defunct Schweppes - nice place value - if Cirillo earns he is great value for top 6 places July as his legs jelly at the 1900m mark but with the weights in his favor he can easily earn in the big event - I have no doubt that if he was gelded he would have achieved more but his owner seems to value an intact set rather than silverware so let karma reward him

Can we now say that Rainbow Bridge is the best offspring of Halfway to Heaven to be foaled by her so far? I mean, it's a lofty list but he is all heart.
Luke knows him well and they surely must be a threat in the big one, even off top weight

Another great run by SA's best horse, Rainbow Bridge. Well done to all the connections.
Superb run by Catch Twentytwo- has improved since being gelded, and overdue for a Gr1 win. The Champions Cup might see him and Jet Dark fight it out, as the July runners are often a bit flat for that race.
Jet Dark seemed to need this run, overraced early and lacked his usual kick. This run best ignored. Belgarion also looked in need of the run.
The message from this result for me is that it confirms that the 3 yos will all be huge runners in the July. Rainbow Bridge will struggle to give them 7kg. I now think that the quartet will be boxed (Gotthegreenlight and the 3 year olds)
if Chimi is used as the line horse, then Catch22 goes to 129 and Seeking the Stars to 124.
If Seeking the Stars(121) is the line horse, then Catch22 goes to 126

Even with the big weight difference unless WOA runs I think RB difficult to beat July

Agree...seems to have gotten better in just doing enough to win...only thing that may catch Rainbow Bridge is the distance...only unplaced run has been in the July with horses going past him in last 200m...a top top horse nonetheless...
