I decided to open a tipping competition thread for Royal Ascot for FUN. We aim to tip the whole CARD on each day. Entry is FREE and the following Rules apply. There will be a day winner and overall festival winner.
TIPPING FORMAT
Race and TAB numbers AND horse name. If any doubt horse name has priority over a number. ONLY provide ONE selection per race. DOUBLE CHECK the TAB number. Each day entry has option for NAP selection which attracts DOUBLE points.
SCORING
Based on R1 each way on local TAB dividends.
SCRATCHINGS: AFTER TIPS LODGED & PRIOR TO RACE 1
If there are ANY scratching AFTER tips are lodged AND PRIOR TO RACE 1, the tipper may submit a replacement runner. If a replacement is not selected, the tipper will receive the tote dividend runner.
Any late scratchings AFTER the START of the competition (Race1) will receive the tote dividend runner.
CUTOFF TIME
Tips must be posted by 5 minutes before the starting time of the meeting.
ABANDONED MEETINGS AFTER A RACE HAS BEEN RUN
The winner will be the person or persons leading at the time of abandonment.
