Race (4)
Winter Royale very unlucky last time, severely hampered 300 out, never recovered and not really persevered with. Based on the debut run, the extra shouldn’t pose a problem. My punt for the day.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

We had heavy rain last night and early this morning, so if we race will be very soft as about 60mm in 48 hours.

In CT we can have all 4 seasons in a single day!
The sun is now shining, and so we should get through the meeting. Only one race down the straight and thats a small field so don't have to worry about track bias.
Race 1 Not much between Jetrix, Tamil Tiger, Jet for Time and Seeking Peace, and the other lightly races fillies could improve. I'll take a chance on Tamil Tiger, but hoping that Versailles can upset.
Race 2 These maiden handicaps are a horrible idea, and there is no value to Legitimise, which is the best horse in the race but now has to give weight all round.
Race 3 Song and Port Adelaide look the 2 to fight it out
Race 4 Quite open. I'm going with Exceeder and hoping that Cape Point can improve.
Race 5 Tricky race, but Alingalonga looks progressive and could score a hattrick.
Race 6 Barney Mcgrew could follow up. Skidoo must always be respected. Spring Awakening is capable but looks vulnerable in the wet
Race 7 Major Attraction should be too good for them here, but not an easy task at the weights in sticky ground. Chile Jam and Tallahassee look the main dangers
Race 8 Again very competitive- I hope that Miss Millstream can go in again.
