On The Road Again
Distance: 1000m
Comments: Surprise winner first time out. The 1000m may be a bit quick and we are Race not sure how he will handle the going, so we will take our chances.
Barcelona
Distance:1500m
Comments: He should enjoy the extra and we expect him to be right there in the closing stages.
Waiting For Summer
Distance: 1500m
Comments: Smart progressive type and we think he will have a good each way chance.
Amanzimtoti
Distance: 1500m
Comments: Won impressively last time and making a name for herself but takes on much stronger here. Could surprise. Each Way Chance
Santa Maria
Distance: 1500m
Comments: Not much between our fillies at this stage. If she handles the underfoot conditions, she will have an obvious chance again. Stays?
Lemon Delight
Distance: In and out of form and hasn’t threatened over a mile to date, but hoping to be competitive in a small field, but has the ability. Include but be wary in the soft.
Iris
Distance:1200m
Comments: Very fit and well. We wouldn’t be surprised if she finishes on top over the going. Competitive race.
Marmelisa
Distance: 1200m
Comments: Will have a winning chance if she handles the track conditions, but it remains to be seen.
Marina
Distance: 2400m
Comments: Had a slight viral setback in her prep, but hoping she is back to her best, but a top filly in the making and will be the horse to beat.
Swazi Queen
Distance: 2400m
Comments: She is well and should have a money chance.
Glacier Gold
Distance: 1200m
Comments: You can always rely on her to give of her best. She is very well, and she will have a good winning chance.

Veronica Mars should never be at the bottom of the boards.

Best odds of the day
SOMERSET MAUGHAM - 3.03/1
Took the double with INTREPID @ 10/1
Fancy a good few with chances
If the Kotzen runner jump on terms WINTER SCOUT in the second.
A three horse race though I'm siding with SING OUT ALOUD
CAPITANA @ 5/1 next best
How good is MARINA maybe 6 lengths to the good
FOURS A CROWD value bet @ 10/1
Multiple bet
R6) Marina
R1) Intrepid
R7) Somerset Maugham

Racing will go ahead today. the pen is reported as 30 after a further 22mm of rain, so about 80mm this week, with only Thursday a dry day. The weather is still quite threatening, and going very soft so we will be lucky to get through the day.
Race 1Danilo Danilovitch has the best form, but Fourie has stuck with Intrepid. Some lightly raced nice sorts that could step up.
Race 2 Pomp and Power has been priced up favourite, but I prefer Barzalona. The light weights could surprise.
Race 3 This race looks very open. We have Treasure Hunt running. I think that she will enjoy the step up in trip, and if she handles the going, has an ew chance.
Race 4 Sleeping Single is well in at the weights, as is Sing Out Loud. The 3 year olds are 6kg out on handicap terms, so will have to improve to beat the older girls. Little between the four of them, and we are hopeful that Pretty Betty can be the first 3 yo home.
race 5 A very open race, and the draws might make a difference depending on how the track is running.
Race 6 Marina is the one to beat, but in these track conditions and although she is bred for the trip, trying it for the first time, I can't see value at 4/10. Swazi Queen earned her rating beating Jaeger Moon in PE- she gets the trip but I don't think that she is much better than the rest. Pink Tourmaline has solid form and should get the trip. Our filly, Helen's Blush goes the trip for the first time, but she should be suited to it, and I think that she has a big place chance and an outside winning chance if she outstays the top ones.
Race 7 Hoedspruit won a good race last time and is the one to beat if he gets the trip. Jaeger Moon has stayed the trip in PE but bumps stronger here. Somerset Maugham showed good improvement last time, and if he gets the trip is a runner. Crimson King was forced to make the pace last time, and was just caught. We think that he will stay this trip and I think that he will win. His prep for this race has been good and he is fit and well. He's the value bet at 5 or 6/1
Race 8 Another very open race and anything can win.

got caught on the rail and quite content to wait until he got a gap, but I agree that he could possibly have got 2nd place.
