I'm not so sure that this is a good call !

Would have thought rather to wait till AFTER the week-end to see how things develop further

oh well, each to their own !!

Good morning sorry about delay.

With our current situation it's not just a case of worrying about the horses wellbeing, it's a logistical problem, with petrol, transport, safety of staff etc.

The lack of decisive action from our police and army has been pathetic and we continue to be under attack.

I was surprised that racing goes ahead and happy we are making an effort to keep the industry running.

As far as today, it looks like a fair day for the punters with

Boleto
Sheela
Dyce
Litigation

All worth a punt.

Humble Tune is over its niggles and bad blood counts and is ready for a good run.
He is fit and well, we will keep the Blinkers on.
Bling knows the horse and he will have to be niggled to keep up with early pace giving him a chance to make up ground in the long straight 👌

Good Punting.

Ito the riots, it seems much worse in KZN than in Gauteng - whether this is because attitudes are more 'against' the rioters, or if the level of preparedness is higher - a case of 'see what is happening in KZN, we need to take pre-cautions, or else the same will happen here', I don't know; I also think 'normality' should be restored as soon as possible - not sure that the situation 'on the ground' will improve a lot next week (remember Zuma has another case to be heard at the Con Court on Monday) or the following week

Ito racing, seems like a few two-horse contests, so not looking that tough to shortlist selections for the exotics; the 3rd lies between Sheela and Aurora Light, the 4th between Dyce and Master Archie, the 5th between Brenner Pass and Litigation (Light Warrior a danger at best); in the 8th Stop for Nothing ran to much higher than his rating in hos last start, does like this track and could prove the value at current odds.

All the best to Dave and Zoro with Humble Tune - open race imo and a danger could be Harry's Secret who has come down 14 points in the ratings since his maiden win

Enjoy B)
