Last race is a typical example of why the old objection rules should be brought back.
Van Niekerk's horse was always going to get a place until Cheyne for sure, and even maybe the other jock, cut across him.
Not that I had anything on it but geez that's not bad luck that's humans causing this.
Cheyne usually hasn't a clue but that type of riding can cause serious injury and should be punished in my view.

Yes, Snaith has a huge string of horses, and as pointed out by Sylvester saddled a third of the runners today, and had an excellent day with 5 winners. Yes, we would like bigger fields and more competition, but I thought today’s racing was quite decent and interesting for a mid week winter meeting. There were some nice juveniles and some progressive 3yos on display. Only 2 favourites won, but only three results were hard to find- Arundelle, Hyde Park and Windsor Beat and all were in competitive handicaps, and were not shocking.
It’s up to owners to support the smaller trainers to ensure that fields are bigger and that there is greater competition.

For a week and some. All of runs has been timed terribly. Sitting on the best horse in the race but fails to deliver.
Careful plenty for the boys going crazy on Rio Querari.
