Terrible how trainers can blatantly lie and continue to do so as the powers that be do absolutely nothing about it.
We wonder why punters don't support SA racing.
There is nothing we can trust about our racing anymore.
I personally couldn't be bothered if our racing closes down all together.Maybe then we could have better coverage from overseas racing with interviews and proper presenters and all exotics offered for their best meeting of the day.

Nice Sylvester.
As soon as I saw De Melo (Sammy's favorite rider on favorites) riding the favorite I had to banker Khiza for the jackpot.

Maybe its the system that's broken _ Owners pay the bills and why should we begrudge them having the first bet on their horse - I'm not sure when these comments are recorded but I'm sure its way before the owner could have a bet - A better system (it does not help punters who bet early though) is to get concrete and firm comments on runners on race day and publish online and Teletrack scroll before first race - Look at the comments from Kannemeyer Ideal Act - Include in exotics- Horse ran 6th just out of the money and I do know there were doubles on his 2 runners so even when confident the horse can only perform to ability... Its hard to balance keeping owners in the game and keeping punters in the game.

I see what you saying Mr.H but why rather not say no comment like 60% of the trainers?
They sometimes say will need to run to also try and mislead the bookmakers so they can get a price.
The comments are probably done a week before so hard for me to fathom a horse suddenly improving from needing the run to ready to win in that time space.
Even James Goodman on one of his podcasts points out Tarry's false comments so plenty trainers try this trick.
On paper and the way they punted it,In my opinion, they deliberately where trying to mislead.

i am not sure if Nadine Rapson Ban kee moon still does the weekly interviews with all the trainers in PE. If the trainers in PE, (where sad to say the racing is of better quality than KZN for 8 months of the year. ) Are willing to be as transparent as they are, why then would trainers in KZN now be able to share info. I assume the PE owners pay with the same rands as KZN owners.
My question would be who at Computaform is gathering this info. is it Joe Soap the mail room employee sending a SMS to the trainer or is it Some one the Trainers would be comfortable speaking too.
If they cant get it right rather remove the feature from the publication
