R1. Casa Rosada likely thereabouts and Sweetest Goodbye won't need to be a superstar to win, but my two e/w options are firstly a small interest in the outsider of the field, Peace In Our Time. Has moved to the Hill stable, who has trained a half sister to three wins on the poly (over further). The form of her run at Turf though could be better than it first seems, some of those ahead of her have run in some better than average fields. She had the outside draw over the minimum on the inside course and from there never really got into the race, didn't appear to me Zackey pushed her too hard. There may be more to come and though she has the widest draw again, she has a low weight and if she can gain a position early could be in the shake-up. The other is Mezzyoona who if forgiven the last two (when drawn wide) then the form in the two runs immediately prior would give her a chance here. At the prices I'll take my chances with those two.
R8 Whisper of War probably thereabouts, but I prefer an e/w chance with Foreign Office. She got into a decent position from the widest draw on debut and was running on nicely to finish only 1l behind runner-up El Dante (poly 1200). That one beat Whispers Of War by the same margin nto (Scots 1400). FO was 5l further back, but again from a high draw this time he could not gain position and raced wide, and was also reportedly not striding out. With poly experience and a better draw this time, both of which Whisper of War doesn't have, and breeding suggesting he should like the step up in distance, he has a fair chance imo at a decent price. Winter Royale and A Thousand Tunes could fill minors.
Be(s)t of luck to all
