URGENT COVID-19 UPDATE

I recently registered and yesterday got a sms to say on Friday I must go to the cticc center, does anyone know if one still have to stand in a que to get in as this week I have seen photos of snaking ques of teenagers over 18. They just pitch up.
If it’s the same que it will take the whole day and would have to postpone for a few weeks until they are done.

Our unemployment is over 34% and much of this is due to us being in the red zone and tourism suffering.

Had Covid Jan 2020 had both my vacs (yesterday completed) - Did not grow an extra ear or receive a voice note from Bill Gates though I wished rumours of extra inches below deck were true but did not happen!!
- Was surprised to see so many under 25's getting vaccinated yesterday with very few over 50's - I cannot understand the reluctance of the vulnerable groups - My 80 yr old dad has done his but my father in law who has diabetes will not go - Please just try to get it done so that the country can try to recover

Before I had my jabs I backed at least three winners week. Since I have had them it’s down to one winner a week. Bladdy vaccine.

I think either go early- 8am- (lots of kids at school - ) or go an hour before the site closes - I spent 3 and a half hours Monday - A mate went to the same place but 15 mins before closing yesterday and only spent an hour and a half- The centre is run by Life Health so not sure how government sites work - And go to the closest to you - You don't have to go to the one the SMS says you must use.

In jest your statement might hold water - Most SA horses are now getting end of season AHS vaccine so many are running into fitness after getting that vaccine

I`ve had both my Vaccines and seemingly on the list for a booster..

No side effects at all!

Thanks, will try the afternoon part as it’s Greyville pollytrack and I would rather be stabbed with needles instead of playing that track

Not sure where you are situated but if you can go to Gallagher vaccination site it took only 45 min yesterday for our work colleagues.

As far as pros and cons with injections.

@PeterD...I have enormous respect for you as a person be it is business, horse-racing or your general knowledge...

I beg to differ on this aspect...none of the "vaccines" prevent infection as is the norm with true vaccines (eg measles, chicken pox, etc that took a long time to develop and have sufficient data to show their long term safety and side-effects)...these minimise the effects of the virus if you do get infected...so they are more therapeutics than vaccines...semantics to some but one of the reasons for aversion by many...

You immune system is also likely to better ward of the variants (if infections is not so severe to hospitalise / kill you) than the current "vaccines" that will require boosters as efficacy wanes over time (currently about 6-8 months) and as new variants arise...
