Race (2)
Despite the weight, Forever Mine looks to be the right one here. Two from two over the distance and one from one course and distance. Get the feeling Smorgasbord may be better suited to the sprint distances at this stage of his career. His rating could be too high due to a facile debut win.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Looks like a nice sunny day, the rains have been and a decent looking card.

Don’t think the exotics will pay bombs, so the Pick 6 is worth having a small perm.

Plenty money for Capri Gold in the first race and the stable comment “will need experience “, not sure if they told the horse?

Race 2 where forever mine and smorgasbord should fight it out

Race 3 small but difficult race.

Race 4 you could banker Indus knight but I have to add scottadito

Race 5 desert miracle looks impossible to beat and MDK has another star.

Race 6 lilliana looks another MDK banker

Race 7 second base also very good horse and possibly a banker but add another couple

Race 8 possible field race but I always include Flower of Scotland in a smaller perm

Race 9 also a bit open but the top 4 in betting should cover

Good Punting

Truth, are you going along with yesterday's workrider race where Ziets'horse won? Personally I dont back anything in a workriders race, but break a leg

What an entertaining card

Race 2 presents a fascinating field. If this was a P6 leg, I would take field.

Race 3: Coral Dawn, Golden Aspen and Queen Theodora to fight it out

Race 4: I am with Dave on banking Indus Knight, but for fear of dropping out 1st leg, will add Wokonda, Scottadito and the grey With Pleasure who seems to have enjoyed the short break and may run today.

Race 5: Desert Miracle

Race 6: Lilliana, Ancestral Prayer, You Deserve It, Astral Plane

Race 7: Difficult race. Field or bank Second Base

Race 8: Difficult race. Field, or in smaller perm only About to Storm, Love Lies, Flower of Scotland, Space Race and Samoa

Race 9: Tough race. Smaller perm only Fisher King, Say When, Val D'orcia and Bold Act. In bigger perm, add Spice Market, Rock of Africa and FSquadron

Small P6: 6 X 4 X 1,3,4,9 X 1 X F X 4,5,6,9 = R128
Big P6: 2,6,8,9 X 4 X 1,3,4,9 X F X F X 2,3,4,5,6,8,9 = R8064 (means % for me)

Have fun all

I very seldom get involved in the work riders races, but heard some good things. Won't be backing it at the current price, but it was more than double that yesterday.

Race 2 Smorgasbord should win this. Forever Mine next best if fit.
Race 3 Queen Theodora good debut, the one to beat unless smart first timer. Danger is Coral Dawn.
Race 4 Wokonda on best form the one to beat. Dangers are Coming in Hot, Scottadito, Indus Knight.
Race 5 Desert Miracle should win easily.
Race.7 Second Base should win. Very open if he fails.
Race 9 Val d’Ocia looks very progressive. Bold Act and Rock of Africa the main dangers in a competitive field.

Thoughts ....

R2: 3 horses coming back from breaks ... who knows

R3: For me it lies between Coral Dawn and Golden Aspen

R4: I think Wokonda will take a lot of beating if ready - first winner for HW from horses bought in the week ?

R5: Can't go against the hottie

R6: Not really convinced about Lilliana - but does look vey well treated here

R7: Second Base or anything

R8: Open

R9: Good contest - if Spice Market gets away, could prove hard to catch

Enjoy B)
